Make a Mug - 2 Days (Ref: 0502)

Service Description

Come and throw your own mug! During this 2 day throwing workshop we will be teaching you how to throw and finish a Mug. During the lesson students will focus on: Day 1 (2.5 hrs): - Prepare clay (wedging) - Centre the clay on the wheel - Throw cylinders - Developing basic forms - Wiring pots off the wheel Day 2 (2.5 hrs): - Turning your pieces (trimming) - Creating handles (Pulling/Rolling) - Attaching Handles - Surface design There will be a maximum of 4 students on any one course. If you are looking for a one to one course please feel free to get in touch. The cost includes firing and glazing a maximum of 2 pieces of work produced. Minimum age we teach is 16.
