Service Description

If you are wanting to join a pottery class but prefer a quieter learning environment, then you can book a one-to-one session with us to have a go and get your hands dirty. No prior experience is required. Our 1.5hr one-to-one session is suitable for beginners and seasoned potters alike. ** Bookings for Private sessions are on request only. Please get in touch if you would like to book. The cost includes studio clay, firing, and glazing up to 2 pieces of work produced. Please get in touch 4 - 5 weeks after the course to collect your work. DECORATING: (Leave a note in the booking if you would like to decorate your own work ) - You can come and decorate your pots once they are leather Hard, Add texture, a handle and underglaze (2 - 3 days after the class) - otherwise you can come in once the pots are fired to Bisque. Booking availble as an extra. The extra class is £25 for a 2 hrs session. During this session you will be shown the technique on glazing and how to decorate your work - If this option is not selected all students' work will be glazed in one colour. Please book a date which is at least 2 weeks from the Throwing workshop. - Please keep your nails short for this workshop - Minimum age: 16.
